Hi there, did any of you have one of these over xmas! I have just un packed mine to cook it and it looks to have a plastic bag around it - under the netting you are supposed to leave on to cook.
Can anyone tell me if this is supposed to be there or if tegal have messed up! I cant get hold of them, and wont be able to til next week - and what am I supposed to do with a turkey til then!

I cooked mine at Christmas. It's actually like the skin on sausages and perfectly edible. It was too much faffing around to remove it after it was cooked so I left it on.

lol funny, I took it back and now have a lamb in the oven!
