Can I use Cherry Brandy instead of sherry, as I don't really want to buy a bottle just for the trifle, and I have some Cherry Brandy on hand! I'd be doing a relatively old-fashioned trifle.

Cherry Brandy would be good 1/4 cup should do it.

The amount is two to one that is one glass for truffle two for youmerry Xmas
