Ham - cooked or raw !

My work has given me a half ham and it doesn't say on the wrapping if it is cooked or raw. I am assuming that these days all hams are cooked so I just need to do the coating. But how can I be sure! What do I need to look for to tell!

#1, I think your assumption is right. I think that raw ham is a common thing in Britain. but unusual here
