spit roaster! Hi guys, not sure where to put this thread so i will start in here. my partner is making a spit roaster for xmas, and we have found a motor from something (partner thing washing machine or fridge.!). it only goes one speed. and thats fast, we want it to go slower and turn the lamb at the same time but dont know how to slow it down without cooking the motor! any ideas! we were just going to turn it every now and then when needed on the day but why when we have a motor that could possibly be used. any ideas or advice is very helpful!
