Hi has anyone got a recipe for a filled loaf!I have lost the recipe, havn't made it for some time but if I can remember rightly it was a cobb loaf or something similar with the top cut off and the middle scooped out, cut up and toasted and the inside had some sour cream and spinach and a touch of curry powder. Can anyone fill in the blanks. thanks

Oh! I have the best ever, really unhealthy filled cobb loaf recipe. And It' SO easy.

250 g light (that's to make it less unhealthy!) cream cheese
2 cups grated tasty cheddar cheese
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup chopped parsley.
Mix all together well - wooden spoon does the job just fine.

Cut top off loaf of bread and pull out some of the insides.Fill with cheese mixture, put lid back on and wrap in foil.150 degrees for about an hour.I put the insides of the loaf in the oven towards the end and use it to scoop out the cheesey stuff. It's just delicious!

otterhound, thanks :)

I like a bit of 'easy' when helping to feed the holiday hordes.
