Awesome idea. By the time we get to xmas dessert no one wants anything. This is the perfect way to dish up small but everyone gets to try it.

They look lovely. I have already brought plastic shot glasses and was doing red/green jellies, choc mousse, and just need some other ideas, thanks for those.

Zabaglione would be perfect, maybe with a sponge finger for dipping.Or I had a recipe called orange boodle which was basically just orange flavoured cream - delicious

There is a fabulous book called "Petite Sweets" by Beatrice Ojakangas which has al sorts of great bite size desserts and treats. There is a recipe there for Chocolate espresso mousse in shot glasses.it looks beautiful. It makes 12x 1oz servings.

Thanks heaps everyone for yr help.Yes, this time of the year, petite desserts in shot glasses may allow us to samplemore varieties without feeling guilty.

Are vodka shots cocktails or desserts!

shots are not desserts, but could be if you paired them with something.
Vodka jellies could be dessert though.
