I've just bought a vac-pac pre-cooked ham on the bone which is a bit too big for us. Can I open the pac, slice the thing in 2 & then freeze both bits until reqired!

accroul.I have done that many a time with different brands. and each time have found when defrosted . the ham seems to be a little more salty. It is recommended to thaw in the fridge.

I wouldnt advise freezing a cooked hamI have done it twice and both times it has turned out very wetwhen thawed.
