Is this easy to colour!And can I just use usual food colouring or is gel or powder better!

Gel is always the best Colouring to use with fondant, at least for beginners.Liquids change the texture too much and can make it runny, powders can be grainy an dissolve unevenly resulting in spots. Yes it's really easy to colour, I tend to microwave mine for ten seconds or so to soften it before I start, put a slight dusting of cornflour on the bench and you're off. A good biceps workout too :)

I find powder colourings fine with it but I agree that the amount of ordinary colouring required to get intense colours would be too wet.
