Off Google Whole, cut, diced or mashed avocados do not have as desirable of a result when frozen. Guess yes, you can freeze.

if they are, unripe, they won't ripen in the freezer. ripen, it ,up first.

i was thinking of putting them in the freezer anripe then ripen them when they defrost or would that not work

I don't imagine it would, they'd go squishy first I think.
