Quiche or bacon and egg pie

shop-a-holic, Nov 9, 10:19am
Cooked chickens. Leave them whole, just stuffed cold with a medley of fresh herbs. So decadent!More than two is a collection. More the better is en masse and visually appealing.

Cripes! I remember the days when I was left on a racecourse for the entire day by thoughtless parents; having a dollar to budget with; two much younger siblings and only Couplands Pies to choose from.

Drinks: Screw tops. Corks popping is not cool around horses/animals.

Savs, heated & chopped in a wide necked Thurmos. Heat up tin Watties Tomato sauce, with a 1/4 lb (yes corrected!) butter and onions. Serve with fresh bread!
Sausages can also be used (more cooking!) but also sauce can be used over these for a great breakfast, keep in an airtight container for days in the fridge.
Easy 'man food' with a beer at the races.
