hope this is the right catergory, but I had (my mums) awesome Kenwood mixer (20+ years old) fall off the bench in the june earthquake. It died the 2nd time I used it after that.Anyway I was wondering what type the replacement one would be for her as they really vary in price in the shops.
(Model from the bottom is A701A) T.I.A

If you contact Kenwood new Zealand, they should be able to help you.

It also could be repairable,if there is a company down there that could do it.There is one in Auckland that has fixed my [same model ] one a couple of times.

Saxon Appliances are great at fixing older appliances although they are/where close to the AMI Stadium so not sure if they are still there.

Kenwood NZ should be able to give you the details of their preferred repairers.

You should be able to get it fixed or buy a secondhand one on Trademe. The direct replacement model for the A701a would be the KM336 at $800+, but you would have to also replace all the accessories your mum had for it as well.

With you on this one. The accessories are so expensive. I would buy one off trade me, for sure.buy local, if you can, cuts out the postage.
