Pavlova

kylina426, Oct 4, 7:54am
I am making a pavlova each night for my son's 21st this weekend. How should I store it! I was thinking of popping tonight's effort in the freezer, but now I think it might go soggy. Cowell's pavs are stored at room temp, so could I keep mine in the pantry! Thanks for any advice.don't want to give anyone food poisoning!

Freeze fine

Thanks for that. So it won't go soggy!

Put it in a paper lined cake tin (not tupperware or plastic) and seal around the edges with strong tape to ensure airtightness.
Yes store in the pantry.
Make sure pav has completely cooled in the oven, before placing in the conntainer.

No. They will keep in an airtight container in cupboard. But think freezer would be best.

Actually it is only the one in the Edmonds cookbook. I kind of forgot about it while I fed the chicks, so it was probably 10 minutes beating away. It still looks good this morning too!

DO NOT freeze. It will go soggy as the sugar breaks down.
