Classic bake option

I've always wondered about this setting for my oven, another, eco grill is entirely lost on me. I sometimes use fanbake, mostly bake and grill. I guess old habits are hard to loose. I remember cooking on mum's old gas stove and was thrilled when she got electric with three solid elements - remember those!

I've been lazy, I just looked up Fisher n Paykels stove manual. Looks like classic bake is for quiches and other dishes needing the most heat from the bottom element. Mind you, there is no visible bottom element, must be under the floor of the oven!
