Boil it for a while then put it in the oven & slowly roast it off,i usually do mine with a 5 chinese mix to give it some flavour. If its cooked right the meat will literally fall apart in your mouth=DELICIOUS :)

also very nice as a curry,cooked long and slow of course.You can also mariade in BBQ sauce with some spice and then slow bake and baste as you go,hhhhMMMMMMMM DELISH.My fav though is boli up,cut into med pices,cover with water and season,bring to boil and then simmer 1 1/2 hours,add potato,kumara in last 30mins and in last fifteen mins add your cabbage,silverbeet,puha or watercress whatever greens you have.
