Runny brownie mix when cooking

bigjubblies, Sep 9, 2:56am
What did i do to my brownie, checked it and it had gone all runny and was leaking all over the oven, used my new brownie pan i got of here, it has a loose bottom and a dividing rack you put in the mixture to seperate them as they cook, any tips be great, as you can imagine it made a lovely mess, but all cleaned now with coffee cake baking

how about lining the tin with baking paper prior to pouring the brownie mix in!

If the tin has a loose bottom wouldn't you automatically do that anyway!

will line next time, but nearly 20 mins of baking time had gone and it seemed like it was never going to cook anyway, the outside was starting to cook

Brownie is supposed to stay fudgy in the middle.

Hi. place some baking paper on the flat bottom part of the pan, so the paper comes out wider than all the sides of the tin. then place the sides on and attach as usual. the baking paper coming out the sides will give a well-sealed edge for your brownie.
