Mince Chow Mein
500gm beef mince - brown this off in large pot, drain off fat if too much 1 onion - sliced up and added to mince Then add these ingredients:- 2 cups water 2 heaped Tblspn long grain rice a few strands of raw spaghetti broken up 1 dstspn soy sauce 1 dstspn sugar 1 tspn currie powder handful or two of sultanas 1 sachet of Hearty Beef cup-of-soup powder
Stir well then simmer for about half an hour, stirring from time to time Place thinly sliced quarter of cabbageon top and let steam for a while then stir in.Cook another 10 to 15 minutes until veges are cooked and rice has absorbed water
