Got some fillet steak out yesterday

and realised it's not individual steak as such, but one big piece.

How would you go about cooking this! Do you pan cook like you would other steak!

season it with pepper herbs but not salt then oil it & rub the herbs etc over the steak.Pan fry to seal then put in oven for 15 minutes. Allow to stand for a few minutes before slicing.

I would cut into individual steaks before I cooked them, but either way

Kept it all in one large piece.seared it in a hot pan then popped it in the oven wrapped in tinfoil. Initially it was still too red for my liking but husband ate his so I put mineback in oven for bit longer and delicious.
Beautiful juicey tender meat.and heaps left over so have plated up meals for tomorrow.
