Ok, I stewed some apples up last night to make apple pie, but the apples were not the stewing type! They are cooked but still very firm and hold there shape. What can I use them in now! Any suggestions. TIA

Apple pie with apples that have held together is fine. Just need to watch the liquid in which they were cooked.

they will be awesome, could also do an apple sponge pudding, which would be nice as the apple won'tget sunk up and be absorbed by the sponge.
