hi, daughter has brought a pasta machine and would love to make herself a simple chicken fettucine (with mushrooms!) dish, has someone got a simple recipe please!

250g fettuccine pasta 500g chicken breast fillets 30g butter 60g butter, extra 300ml carton thickened cream 100g coarsely grated fresh Parmesan cheese 1 teaspoon cracked black peppercorns 1 clove garlic, crushed 2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
Add pasta to large pan of boiling water, boil, uncovered, until just tender, drain; keep warm. Cut chicken into thin strips. Heat butter in pan, add chicken in batches, cook, stirring, until lightly browned and tender; drain on absorbent paper. If your daughter is using fresh pasta, it will cook far quicker than the dried pasta. I often use sour cream instead of cream.
Heat extra butter in pan, add cream, stir until boiling. Add chicken, cheese, peppercorns, garlic and basil, stir until heated through, serve over pasta.

twist on that is fettuccine for how ever many people 1 onion size depending on how many people or more onion if you like it cream size depends again on how many people 5 people it is 300 ml bacon 1 pack 1 packet of cream of chicken soup.
chop up bacon and cook off with the onion/sthen while that is cooking in another pot with water boil pasta. when onion is softened and the pasta is almost done pour into the pan with the onion and bacon the container of cream and once it has started to bubble add the cream of chicken soup and mix in let it simmer until thickened drain pasta and mix into the cream mix and serve up
