Pork leg shank ideas!

never cooked a pork leg shank as i never thought it was a great cut but bought one for a really good price and plan to cook for family today. any ideas and tips on how to cook and with what! 3 1/2 kgs with a lovely layer of to be crackling over 2 1/3s of the roast i really wanted to do a fejoia sauce but cant find them anywhere so any help would be great.dont want to stuff up such a large cut of meat

sounds like you are on to it long slow roast with salt rub first to bring out the crackle.
