kendy2, I haven't frozen banana cake as such but the banana loaf I make is so cake-like that it may as well be called a banana cake and it freezes perfectly (un-iced of course, being a loaf) but IMO it has always been just as good after freezing as if never having been frozen, and never soggy. :-))
