Help please with ganache

I made ganache today 500ml of cream 750gms chocolate. It seems quite runny, I'm going to put it in the fridge overnight. If in the morning it isn't thicker do you think I could add icing sugar to thicken it up. I'm wanting it to dry on the cake also so I can put flowers on the top. TIA

sorry i always have trouble with ganache. it never seems to mix with the cream. would look to hear others ideas on this- and how to make a sucessful ganache

Leave it to cool and then whip it good!Around 10 minutes or so.Keep whipping until you get the consistency you want.Has to be completely cooled down though.Good Luck!
