To make 400grms pastry

How many cups of flour etc for homemade & how much fat?I want to make a lower fat version if possible. Thanks

Are you wanting short or flakey.
Flakey:
2 cups high grade plain flour
1/4 tsp salt
200gms butter 6 Tbsps (approx) cold water

Short is 2 cups high grade flour
1/4tsp salt
125gms butter
cold water
Makes 375gms -400gms.
If you want a lighter fat option perhaps replace the butter with a low cal marg, or lite substitute. The pastry will be firmer though.
Always use the butter really cold and I use iced water. Hope this helps.
