Unsure if there is any one with tips on how to make a cheese/biscuit/ fruit platter look presentable!!! i have attempted many, and they always look average.

Maybe you are being too critical of yourself. I have made a few in my time and they always look great even though I'm not very artistic. I Just use a big round platter, then segment each group so it looks balanced. I usually include a handful of after dinner mints in the gold foil wrappers - maybe that's the trick lol. I think i have sometimes put pate in the middle. Don't know if that is any help. Good luck

a bunch grapes in the centre perhaps or seasonal fruit pieces to add colour might look nice

you could also add marshmallows, jaffas, mint leave lollies and pineapple lumps dropped around everything:) Then you could have a big bunch of parsley in the center like a flower.

Dates and walnuts or another nut, quince paste,marshmallows.
