i've got huge chive plant that probaby needs a bit ofhaircut. can i freeze it ok for use in stews etc. i'm sure it would be fine wouldnt it or would it be best to dry it. cheers.

You certainly can freeze chopped chives, kabbo. I usually pack them firmly into ice cube trays then just take out one or two cubesas I need them.
