Beer Batter - anyone have a recipe??

Beer Batter for Seafood
1 cup flour1 cup beer,freshly opened or flat
salt & pepper to tastepinch of sugar
flour forcoatingoil for frying
1.In a bowl combine all dry ingredients
2.Gradually blend in beer to make a smooth batter.
3.To use:coat seafood in extra flour then dip in batter. Shallow or deep fry in hot oil at approx180-190'c. until batter is crisp and golden and seafood is cooked.
