I opened a container of buttermilk last Saturday and wondered how long will it last in the fridge.I was planning on using it this weekend.Do you think that it will still be OK?

sure thing, it is a culture, so a living thing. Should last 3 weeks, close it up tho, don't want nasty organisms being introduced.
