I am trying to get prepared for a party.Are there any potasto dishes that can be successfully frozen either before or after cooking??My mind has gone blank!! Thanks!!

Potato bakes can be frozen & reheated.

I have not had good luck with freezing potato at all. I will freeze almost anything, but I notice a distinctly different taste. Very unappealing.

All depends how you freeze it. It needs to be covered and preferably with the air removed. And of course the longer you leave it the more it deteriorates, same with anything you freeze.

I always told to be careful about freezing potatoes as they get a funny texture when they are re-heated. (well to my taste anyway) and not to freeze cream (in case you use cream in your potato bakes but I dont)
