Pork chops

So I have some out for dinner .... Instead of doing the usual pork chops, mashed potato and pumpkin with broccoli and cauliflower I want to do something different
Any ideas to make this a extra special yummy meal?

Depends on whether they are shoulder (the best) or loin chops. Shoulder are best cooked longer, loin, cooked faster like you would a steak, as they tend to dry out quick.

My partner is a fussy eater and he will be here for dinner tonight lol

this is our favourite:
Pork chops - 1 T worcester sauce - tin crushed pineapple - juice 1 lemon - flour to coat - thyme.
Salt chops and coat with flour. Brown in hot pan in oil. Place chops in oven dish. Mix juice & sauce and pour over. sprinkle with thyme and cover each chop with pineapple. Bake 180'c or till tender. An hour approx. I don't measure the quantities, just splosh em together, if no crushed pineapple, used pieces chopped finely or several rings to each chop. It's really easy and always delicious.

oooh I have a sticky pork chop recipe I have been using lately!
In a small bowl mix together:
1/3 cup plum sauce
2 tsp sweet chilli sauce
1 TBS soya sauce
2 TBS honey
Cook pork chops until done then remove from pan & saute
1/2 tsp crushed garlic
1/2 tsp crushed ginger
add honey mixture & stir in 1/8 tsp chinese 5 spice...
return chops & turn until coated...

YUMBO!!
I make up the sauce in bigger quantities & freeze it for easy meals ..get in from work throw a pork chop on to cook & pour over heated sauce!

1 tbsp honey
1tsp crushed chilli
