Kitchen scales - What do you recommend?

My old kitchen scales died. Need to buy new ones can you recommend any.

Yes...Salter or Soehenle. I like the "aquatronic" feature and "add and weigh" feature with the Salter scales (digital) and most of the new digital models also have grams and kilograms as well as ounces and pounds as wellas fluid ounces ( hence the aquatronic,allowing yoou to weigh liquids) The add and weigh means that you can weigh and item ( say 100g flour) then leaving the flour in the weighing dish, zero the scale back and weigh the next item. It means you just use the one bowl to weigh everything together. Be prepared to pay soewhere between $80 plus, depending on which scale you buy. I have a great one that weighs up to 10kg, has a large digital dial ( no glasses required!) a stainless steel bowl, they retail around $179

Next time I will buy one that will allow anything over 2 kg.I love the add and weigh and also being able to change it from ozs to grams.

We have this one, had it for over a year, works great, chews through batteries as we use it heaps:5kg in 1g increments.
