I saw a very simple recipe for cooking shoulder pork but I cant find it now - can anybody help me?

I just put it into the crockpot, but I make a kind of sauce with sliced onions,sliced apple, ginger, garlic some cinnamon and salt and pepper. I pour this over the top which then makes a lovely gravy
