This doesn't seem to have too much in it. It is out of a Slow Cooker book by Sally Wise - I don't know what it is like as I've never tried it.
Apple Self-Saucing Pudding 4 cooking apples such as Granny Smith 1 tablesp butter 2 rounded tablesps self raising flour ¾ cup sugar ¾ cup cold water 2 teasps lemon juice
Peel and core apples and cut in half lengthways. Grease inside of slow cooker with butter. Place apple halves cut side up around cooker. Rub butter into the flour with your fingertips. Mix in sugar, water and lemon juice (the mixture will look very unusual) Pour mixture over apples evenly. Cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours.
If you try it you'll have to let us know what its like!

Heres another out of the same book - again I haven't tried it.
Apple Dumplings in Butterscotch Sauce 2 apples 1 cup self raising flour 1 teasp sugar 3 teasp butter 1 teasp finely grated lemon rind 1 egg yolk 1 cup brown sugar lightly packed 1 tablesp butter 1 tablesp golden syrup
Peel & core apples and cut into quarters lengthways. Grease inside of cooker with butter. Mix flour, sugar and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Cut the butter into small pieces and rub into the flour mixture with your fingertips until mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Mix in the lemon rind. Whisk egg yolk and mix in with about ¼ cup of cold water or just enough to make a soft dough. Divide dough into 8 pieces and flatten each of them out a little. Take each piece of apple and mould a piece of dough around it. place the 'dumplings' into the slow cooker. Put the brown sugar, butter, golden syrup and 1½ cups of water in a small saucepan and bring to the boil. Pour over dumplings. Cook for 1 - 1½ hours on high. Serve with ice cream, cream or yoghurt.

One more - not tried.
Steamed Jam Pudding 90 grms butter softened ½ cup sugar 1 egg 1½ cups self raising flour ½ cup milk ½ teasp vanilla essence 2½ tablesps raspberry or other dark jam
Grease a 4 cup capacity metal pudding basin and line base with a circular piece of baking paper and grease the paper. Beat butter and sugar together then mix in egg until well combined. Fold in flour, milk and vanilla essence. Place jam in the base of the pudding basin and spoon the flour mixture over it. Cover the basin with two layers of foil and tie with a string around the rim to secure foil and ensure a good seal. Place pudding basin in cooker and pour boiling water into the cooker until it reaches 2/3 of the way up the sides of the basin. Cook on high for 3½ hours. Serve with custard, cream or vanilla ice cream. Any type of jam can be used - marmalade would be nice.
