Does anyone have a recipe on how to make a wicked WHITE hot chocolate? had one the other day and it was sooo heavenly. I have a heap of white chocolate i could melt down but i was wondering if sweetened condensed milk would work or be too sweet? i should just try and see what happens but wondering if anyone has made this before?

It would be too sweet if you served it warm, but would taste great when cold.

hmm thats what i thought. maybe put a couple of teaspoons in at a time to sweeten up as the white chocolate i have is very creamy and not too sweet

Once in a while, we are allowed to have all the sweetness we could ever want.

White Hot Chocolate

* 1 cup white chocolate chips
* 1 cup heavy cream
* 4 cups half-and-half (half milk/ half cream)
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
* Vanilla whipped topping, for garnish
* Candy cane, crushed or whole, for garnish
* Peppermint liqueur, optional
* White chocolate liqueur, optional

Directions

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine white chocolate chips and heavy cream. Stir continuously until white chocolate chips have completely melted. Stir in the half-and-half, vanilla extract and peppermint extract. Stir occasionally until heated through.

Pour into mugs and top with a dollop of vanilla whipped topping and a candy cane.

Note: For a tasty adult drink, add desired amounts of peppermint and white chocolate liqueurs
