Edible photo for Birthday cake

Can anyone tell me where I can get a edible transfer done of a photo? It's my Dads 70th coming up and I'm in charge of the cake. I would like to put a transfer of his new boat on it but don't know where to get it done, If possible would like to make the cake myself.

Ring your local icing shop........they will know who does them in Auckland. I got one recently and had a hell of a job getting it off the backing onto the cake.....ended up ripping and tearing....it was a disaster. Was just able to manage to save the bridal party's heads! $12 A5 size. I followed instructions...keep flat, out of sun, away from water etc. etc. There must be a trick to it. Good luck!

http://photocake.co.nz/ I use them all the time. They have awesome customer service and fast delivery - and you also have the option to pick up from their store 'Decor Cakes'I do digital scrapbooking so I did hese 2 in Feb this year and got them made into edible icing, then just baked cakes to put them on :) They are both A4 size and fit well on both sponge cakes from New world (2nd photo) and on a chocolate cake baked in your average size roasting dish (1st photo).http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1758045303181&set
