the blimmen bread crumbs. Can they be ok without bread crumbs?
I putin grated carrot a little grated spud some chopped onions and some grated courgette. Threw in a little sweet barbeque sause which is a little like relish and salt and pepper. Will they be naffed without the breadcrumbs?

Guess you've eaten by now. I don't use breadcrumbs. Use egg & flour to bind & they are yummy (with onion, beef stock, seasoning) Oven needs to be around 200 for approx 20 -25 mins, depending on size (thickness) Did you put the filling in pastry?

they turned out absolutely delicious. Hubby and I were well pleased with our efforts (he mixed the filling together lol) They were moist and very scrumptious.
Am off now to make a batch to take into my wee grandson for his lunches next week as these will be lovely cold.
I did have oven a litle low jessie and turned it up a bit half way through but will know for next time thank you for that.
