The month of May - duck shooting season! Are there any duck shooters based in Auckland who I could buy a couple of ducks from (plucked & ready to cook please).I remember my grandfather going off in his flat bottomed boat to his "maimai" with dog & gun in Mangonui, Northland - returning with many ducks for nan to cook up (I offered to pluck of course, but oh what an arduous job!).Really miss the true 'game food', if anyone can help please let me know.
