I have a lot say about 3 kgs of frozen tomatoes here that need something doen with them.
Any ideas?

They are only good for sauce or soup, once thawed they turn into a liquid sloppy mess because the ice crystals destroys the pulp fibre yet they still taste ok.
Frozen, unblanched tomatoes are good for cooked dishes, casseroles etc. They will be a bit mushy, reduction will concentrate the flavour.

i made yummy soup last week with frozen tom. sauted a couple of onions, put 1/2 cup water in, then about 15 toms, 2 tblsp buter,1/2 cup sugar, some pepper and curry and cooked up. used my stick blender to thicken it all up. very nice.
