DUTCH APPLE CAKE RECIPE WANTED

Hi, can anyone help me out with a much wanted recipe for Dutch Apple cake please, I promised to make this cake for my boyfriend over the weekend and didnt realise I have lost the good ole recipe I had from years ago when I had a clean out etc, I would really appreciate any help :)

just one question---- how thick does the applesauce have to be? I do not ever use anything tinned.

I don't use tinned apple either lilyfield, but for anything that requires applesauce, I simply drain stewed apple overnight - and there you have it.

I just stew apples with a bit of water, then reduce so there is very little water left!

How has it turned out??mmMmm moist and yummy as I bet!!
