I think you can add one tablesoon of cornflour OR one tablespoon of golden syrup to replace the binding properties that egg has in a recipe. Please let me know how it goes!

depends how soon you need it and if you can get it. A good health food store or a good supermarket should have Orgran egg substitute. Used it for years in baking as my boy could not eat eggs.

so would it b 2 teaspoons of goldensyrup for 2 eggs?

Has anyone tried this. I found it thru google.... This is the "fake egg" recipe I use when I cook vegan. It works very well in baking. I have only used it in carrot cake not yellow cake tho, so cross your fingers.

1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 Tbsp flour
3 Tbsp water

Mix with fork in small bowl 'til foamy. Substitutes for one egg. Can be doubled or more.
