Coffee And Walnut Slice 300g vanilla wine biscuits, crumbled 1/2C sweetened condensed milk 50g butter, melted 1/2C walnuts, coarsely chopped 2 shots espresso coffee or 3t instant coffee dissolved in 2&1/2T hot water 1/2C choc chips
Coffee Icing 2C icing sugar 1t butter, softened 1 shot espresso coffee, or 1&1/2t instant coffee dissolved in 4t hot water extra hot water extra chopped walnuts and choc chips
Line a 20x24cm slice pan with baking paper To make the base, combine biscuit crumbs, condensed milk, butter, walnuts and coffee in a lg bowl and mix together well Add choc chips then press mixture into pan Refrigerate base for 1hr To make icing, combine icing sugar, butter, and coffee and mix together well. Add sufficient waterto make mix a spreadable consistency Spread icing over base and sprinkle over extra choc chips and walnuts, gently pressing them into the icing. Chill until set Makes about 20 slices
