What would be the base of most chutneys So far i know its sugar,vinegar what else... I am going to make a tomato,plum and peach chutney :) and also i am going to use some spices with it too. If i can be familar with the bases of them then i will be away laughing making some. |

Using soy milk in baking I got given a free sample 1 litre of Vitasoy which no-one here will actually drink (although I might use it in a smoothie) so was just wondering if I can use it in my baking instead without it affecting the flavour? |

Unsalted butter question If unsalted is all I have in the fridge, how much salt would I add to say 100gms, to make it taste like salted butter. Unsalted is not the same on hot scones. |

Has anyone got a method for packaging coffee and / or milk powder and sugar in single serves so they don't go hard with moisture etc?Tinfoil perhaps crimped around the edges???I'm hoping to be able to pack to keep viable for about 2 months. |
