I have made a nice chili sauce but it's REALLY HOT! What could i add to it to calm it down without changing the flavour to much?

lol . easy to do, sometimes there is nothing you can do. It will depend on the chili you used as to the possibility of calming it down. I have some in my fridge I am very slowly getting through in stir fries stews etc. I used habanero, the second hottest chili known to man. It will last me out, lol. What was your recipe?

maybe apricot sauce would mix ok into it without changing the flavour too much

Mix with Cream cheese or Sour cream for a dip....lovely
