Easy Tomato pulp...

This is nice in the winter with sausages or chops and serves as another vegy.

4 kg tomatoes
4 large onions
125gr butter
2 tblsp plain salt
1 teaspn curry powder
1.1/4 cups sugar
2 teaspn sweet basil, or a few fresh leaves if you have them.
1 teaspn mustard seeds
opitional, couple cloves of garlic, and/or fresh ground pepper.

chop up onions and toms into nice chunks,
put all in a pot, and bring to boil. about 1-2hrs, until it looks soft and cooked.
Put into jars or freeze.
I use the pasta jars(heated in oven), and quickly put the lids on. most times they will pop. if they dont, pop into freezer.
