7 kg red tomatoes 7 large onions 2 small cups sugar 2 tblspn plain salt 3 teaspn black pepper 1 teaspn curry powder 250gm butter. handfull chopped parseley if you like. Chop up toms and onions, put into HUGE pot with everything else. slowly bring to boil, turn down and simmer for 2.1/2hrs. Put thru mouli. Bottle with screw bands or.........because i have bad hands, (can't tighten the bands) I let it go cold, and then put in plastic containers and freeze. You do need a large size pres pan or huge pot tho... I got 8 x 500ml containers.
after it has been frozen, if you feel it is too runny, just thicken with a little flour/water .

heres mine but you can also not whiz it or make it thinner with water and serve with spuds or on pasta!
onions sliced courgettes sliced tin tomatoes or fresh tomato paste salt and pepper water you can also add mushroom, peas, beans, corn, herbs etc
Boil for 45 mins. add water to how ever thick or thin you want it. whiz if you wish.

Even easier Pour boiling water over roma tomatoes or any other variety, should be very ripe cook diced celery and carrot in lots of olive oil Add chicken stock (the house brand from Countdown is good) or vege stock whizz with a stick mixer until reasonably smooth Add peeled tomatoes and whizz them tear up some fresh basil and heat
