Anyone know the recipe of Yum Royal Salad at Royal Siam Thai restaurant at Royal Oak roundabout? I can't find anything like it online and it is amazing!

Has a tang, mint, coriander, a bit of fish sauce maybe, salad, meat and veg, but I don't know how to make it.... any ideas?

Cheers

Was it something like this?

Thai Beef Salad (Yam Neua Yang Nahm Toke)

serves 4

350g lean beef sirloin, rump or fillet
2 tab fish sauce
4 tab lime juice
1 tsp sugar
¼ tsp roasted chilli powder
3 shallots, finely sliced
lettuce leaves
⅓ c coriander leaves, roughly chopped
⅓ c mint leaves, roughly chopped

Mix fish sauce, lime juice, sugar and chilli powder, add shallots.

Line a serving plate with lettuce leaves.

Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper and grill over high heat to medium rare (not rare).Slice crosswise into strips and add to dressing, combine well.Check seasoning and adjust if necessary.Spoon over lettuce leaves, sprinkle coriander and mint on top to serve.

Maybe, I'll try that, but had a vinegar sort of tang too...

jag5, 14 hours, 2 minutes
That would probably come from the Lime juice.
