I don't know who ..pip.. is. I don't recognise their name as a regular poster here but wanted to say thanks anyway. I made the brownie for a friend tonight (with roughly chopped hazelnuts thrown in) and he was a VERY happy man!
175g butter 250g bag choc chips 1 1/2 cups flour 1 cup sugar 2 tsp vanilla essence 3 eggs beaten 1 cup of walnuts (optional) and I have never tried it with the nuts
Grease 20cm square tin and preheat oven to 180c
Melt butter and chocolate over a very low heat then remove from heat. Stir in all other ingredients.
Bake for 40 minutes. When cool dust with icing sugar.
