Xmas lunch , we r doing the whole turkey, potaoes

etc for tea with the whole family but for lunch there is only half of us so wondered what ideas people have for a nice lunch but not over lapping the stuff we having for tea.Any ideas please?

jo158, I don't know what ages you're needing to have lunch for but I'm wondering about a variety of platterse.g. antipasto (olives, sundried tomatoes, hummus, etc.); cold meats; seafood; salad items e.g. mixed salad greens, sprouts, etc.; cheese and fresh/dried fruits; breads - some of the many interesting and different types that are available now - really exactly what you could have depends on the ages and likes/dislikes of everyone plus, of course, what fits your budget.
