Does anyone have a good recipe for a golden syrup loaf please! My Aunt buys one from Countdown sometimes - and it's really yummy!Can you please help me!

This was my grandmothers recipe and it was always delicous buttered. she would be 110 is still alive today so its pretty old. 2 Cups of Flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 3/4 cup sugar- mix together, melt 2 tabs golden syrup and a small piece of butter, about 25gms in today measurements, heat 1 cup of milk and dissolve 2 tsps baking soda add wet to dry ingredients bake 1 hour in buttered/lined loaf tin in a mod oven (about 180oC) if it looks like its getting too dark place a peice of brown paper or baking paper on top.
