Vaniila Plum Cake 300 gm butter and 1½ cups sugar beaten until creamy. Add 3 eggs beating after each addition. Add grated rind 1 lemon 1 tsp vanilla essence Stir in 1 cup buttermilk or yoghurt Stir in 3½ cups Self raising flour. Place into a roasting dish and smooth out mixture. Place 1/2's of plums on top. Bake 1 hr 180.
