creamed corn, finely diced onion, egg to bind, grated cheese, sometimes i add ham, salami or chrispy bacon.
edited to add... ... . . can freeze these.

I make a white/cheese sauce and add some ham, corn and spring onions.

I just open the can and mix in a bit of salt, maybe a bit of dry mustard and dollop it in. Then top with cheese. bacon and stuff sounds nice though. . What ever you do - get good creamed corn! none of that icky budget stuff.
